Karin Hoogesteger (Zutphen) paints people and their enviroment. In her paintings she philophizes about the influence that these have on each other, with a certain sense of melancholy, tenderness and transparency. Because she does not pass judgment, but takes the audience, as it were, as a silent spectator in the world she dispicts, there is room for a personal experience, a personal feeling.
