Koen Geerts (Eindhoven) paints fascinated by the unreal beauty of nature landscapes. Nature is full of contrasts; choas versus intransigence, dynamics versus tranquility. Koen reflects these contrast through the use of varied paint treatment, light-dark effect and subtle color combinations. The silence that landscapes radiate in general is influenced by Koen using dynamic elements that keep the eye of the viewer constantly wandering around.
